About the Job

Bractlet is on a mission to solve climate change through efficiency.

Leveraging the world’s largest energy efficiency dataset — over 1 trillion data points and counting — our team marries decades of industry experience in design, construction, and maintenance of building energy systems with machine learning and advanced thermodynamic simulation technology to provide the real estate industry’s most effective solution for optimizing building performance and maximizing invested capital.

To that end, we are building the world’s first comprehensive and open energy resource management (ERM) to provide a single source of truth for the built environment’s energy data. Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data originates from many disparate sources and must ultimately satisfy the ever-evolving reporting requirements of several ratings services and agencies, creating a logistical data nightmare. Bractlet provides software tools to streamline and automate the management of this data, enabling our customers to proactively identify issues and satisfy any and all reporting or planning requirements on time and under budget.

Bractlet’s progressive culture features highly intelligent and inquisitive individuals — characterized by their drive, innovation, integrity and humility — who excel in a close-knit and fast-paced team. Join us.

As a Senior Product Manager at Bractlet, you will work closely with design and engineering teams to design intuitive and valuable software from initial concept to polished product. This role will be part of the team designing how the built world adapts to the challenges of today and tomorrow by helping users reduce their impact on the climate and strategize how to become more resilient and sustainable.

Job Description

Work with cross-functional teams to solve hard customer and business problems. These teams will consist of product managers, designers, and engineers and interface with sales, marketing, customers success, and operations to define constraints and opportunities.

  • Drive consistent innovation using the diverse backgrounds and ideas of the teams within Bractlet to discover effective solutions and deliver them to market
  • Contribute to the product team a deep knowledge of our users and customers, and the data about how our customers engage with our products.
  • Finally, the product manager is expected to track industry trends and the competitive landscape as they pertain to her product.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
  • 4+ years working on technology-powered products as a product manager.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of the business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
